Helping businesses grow by harnessing the power of technology.
My tech story.
Throughout my career, I’ve been a technologist at heart. From leading the team that created sticky, interactive content for Merck and Fortune 500 firms including Bank of America, I enjoy being on the cutting edge of technology.
Tech-savvy.
More recently, that includes using automation to create a dynamic email newsletter with an open rate of 68% and a CTR of 8% and using AI to help businesses grow faster.
Using technology to beat the competition
Naturally, my career path led me to work at different software companies. From being marketing hire number two at ScriptLogic, I managed the campaigns across public relations, advertising, and email marketing. Subsequently, I played a key role in helping the company’s acquisition by Quest Software for $90 million, which was subsequently acquired by Dell for $2.36 billion.
That led to my role as the Director of Marketing at KMC Software, a SaaS startup where we created an innovative HR solution called Unrabble. We launched the software in Silicon Valley, where my public relations efforts generated press coverage in Business Insider, TechCrunch, Mashable, The Financial Times, and VentureBeat.
Building my own startup
In 2013, I tapped into my expertise as a journalist, marketer, and technologist to make my startup World Soccer Talk a full-time career. There, I turned the blog into one of the top 5 soccer websites in the United States, according to ComScore. Additionally, I led the team to create the Soccer TV Schedules mobile app for Android and Apple devices where the app’s daily content updates are completely automated.
As World Soccer Talk grew in popularity and broke revenue targets, the team expanded to help the site become the industry standard for how to stream soccer games, schedules, and news content about the world’s most popular sport.
In 2022, I successfully sold World Soccer Talk to the most popular sports media publisher in the Americas.
Creating a marketing-wide AI-first strategy
More recently, I’ve harnessed the power of artificial intelligence to develop and execute a marketing-wide AI-first strategy.
That has included taking the lead on cross-functional initiatives to integrate AI into core marketing processes such as lead generation, content creation, campaign management, and marketing automation.
As a result, I’ve used AI-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize campaign performance in real-time.
